Aggregation, filtering and grouping
The Quest List View eases site maintenance and introduces the concept of Cross Site Lookup, which implies that information can be looked up from lists in different sites. Using the Quest List View WebPart, it is very easy to aggregate data from multiple lists to display that information in a grid. The lists do not even have to exist in the same sites as the current site. This allows for a lot of flexibility in quickly managing information in different lists/sites.
