Option 2 Recomposition
The recomposition of Notes applications in SharePoint is no trivial task where the pain of recreating applications logic can be costly and time consuming. Cost and development time in many cases makes migration of applications prohibitive stalling a complete migration from the Notes environment. Our approach is to use the Devworkz SharePoint Platform Accelerator [SPA] to enable rapid low cost development of Notes logic in SharePoint. Recomposition involves the migration of content and then the reconstruction of application logic and work flow in SharePoint.

The recomposition in SharePoint is aided by SPA, a rapid application development environment for SharePoint. SPA also provides the SharePoint environment with many new Notes type interfaces and features. This ensures that users with a history of working with Notes have a similar user interface and functionality in a SharePoint environment.
